Friendly; NOT shy; a little self-absorbed (yeah, like just look @ this freakin’ profile!). I like being the center of attention; like to tell a good story; non-confrontational; want everyone to be happy & comfortable; want everyone to like me (a Leo thing; & if they don’t like me, they should at least have the decency to envy me – another Leo thing); very open; generous; honest; not emotionally stingy; a good listener; a good advice-giver; mature (does that mean old?). I would never describe myself as “just a normal easygoing jeans & t-shirt guy” – sorry to those of you who describe yourselves that way but… BORING! Sure I like to wear jeans & a t-shirt too, but I also like to dress up. And even jeans & a T ought to be fashionable (which does NOT mean expensive; I’m all about the sale rack & the discount store). I’m certainly not straight-acting or straight appearing – for chrissakes I’m GAY! Masculine? What does that mean? I’m very happy & comfortable being a big hairy man, so if that’s what masculine is, I’m it.
Am I a Bear? I guess so. I am kinda big & furry. And I like other big & furry guys (but not too big – I don’t mean to be “size-ist” but I like guys who are reasonably fit, with healthy height to weight ratios; a little meat on the bones & not TOO muscle-y is nice). Occasionally I feel “cubby” but I’m neither boyish nor submissive. Not daddy-ish either (though I can call upon my inner dominance when necessary). Not thin enough to be an otter (but I do like them otters. Yum!). Wolf? Hmmm. I don’t fully understand that one. But, as I am a Leo & I like the outdoors, I think I’ll start a new sub-category of gay male woodland creatures & call myself a Mountain Lion (or perhaps Puma, yeah Puma is good; Cougar is a women-of-a-certain-age going after younger guys). So PUMA it is.
